The surronding Nelson area offers amazing views and activities to be done by all, whether is canoeing Able Tasman, Sky diving, Yatching, Tramping, Hiking, Caving, Camping or shopping. A visit down the well known Trafalgar's street in Nelson is at the heart of Nelson Shopping which was named after one of the early Dutch settlers. Many of the streets in Nelson are named after well known early settlers to the area and many of the original houses have been refurbished and a quick walk down Trafalgar street will show some of the most impressive historic houses in the area.The Weather in Nelson is well known to offer the most sunlight hours per year in New Zealand. Which is one of the many reasons why Nelson is the popular area for tourists to choose it as their favourite holiday destination.
